Hand hygiene practices and nosocomial infection prevention in ICU settings
¶ … Infection Control
The preventive measures should be practiced by the nurse staff in order to ensure that the quality services are provided to the patients by means of eradicating the transmittal of microorganisms and infections that cause diseases. The threats prevail to the patients who already lack the immunity towards the hazardous microbes and it becomes important for the nurses to become accustomed with the infection control practices by means of hand-hygiene while attending patients and switching their activities to other patients. The utilization of these practices in the healthcare centers by the proactive behavior of nurses will result in lower morbidity and mortality rates.
