Consumption of epigallocatechin-3 gallate (EGCG) in green tea will reduce the distinct growth and dissemination properties of Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) cells in culture and on tumor growth in an orthotopic mouse model, as mwasured by reduced growth, invasive phenotype, and survival of SMU-149 and SUM-190 IBC cells, and the ability of the IBC cells to stimulate in vitro lymphangiogenesis.
