Throughout the years, the United States level of healthcare has been adversely affected by various emerging trends concerning Medicare. Some of these factors are the increasing health insurance industry, advancement in technologies used in medicine, demography changes and the improvement of customer support for healthcare. This has implicated towards the expenditures that continue to pile up towards the citizen and the U.S. government.

Increment in the rapid changes, in health insurance, has put health policies on the limelight. This is due to the cost containment towards the community (Kaiser, 2007). The issue of affordability of the insurance towards the citizens has advocated the re-address of this issue. Similarly, inconsistencies and different explanations from health policymakers has affected levels of health services from insurance providers and eventually implicating to division of costs from government health parastatals planning on healthcare allocation costs.

Insurance influences have also conjoined with advances from medical technologies in implicating towards the costs used towards the U.S. Medicare expenditure. According to Karen, the country has derailed towards learning policies from other countries in curtailing and enhancing the spending value (Karen, 2008, pg 1751). Private and government health institutions have recently been undertaking medical technologies that are less cost-effective. The new advancements neither commensurate or reduce costs implications.

Medicare in the U.S. has revolutionized through many different ways, through the introduction of Medicaid and social security; but as this is said about it, demography fluctuations underlay the overall perception of health, especially in the issue of healthcare cost. The health expenditure as per-capita is low due to the increment of federal spending growth accredited to demographics. Far fetched effects have affected the cost reforms being effectuated in the country's healthcare (Orszag, 2009).

Despite the introduction of consumer support services for healthcare facilities in the U.S., health practitioners have had a problem in offering the best customer satisfaction to its clientele. The expectations of patients in the reduction of health cost have not been realized. Many health institutions have incorporated high-profiled consumer support services to ameliorate their health revenue and income. However, this has been an affordability impediment towards people who cannot the high cost towards achieving quality assured healthcare.

Indications on the fiscal future

The future towards healthcare and reforms is bright. However, health insurance, advances in medical technology, changes in demographics and consumer supports towards healthcare have greatly impacted to the U.S., especially in terms of costs. They are unpredictable towards the future trend of health. It is, therefore, vital to re-design the indications these influences towards fiscal future of health care in the U.S. Similarly, it is noted that the U.S. expending towards healthcare has kept on doubling, and the same is expected if the health influences keep on implicating towards healthcare refurbishments (Siegel, 2011, pg 807).

The health system is patently inclining towards being immensely dysfunctional. All the above stated influences have posed a threat towards wasting the degree of heath care delivery. They have designate future and high levels of iatrogenic, social inequalities, pharmacological and nosocomial errors towards the access and quality of care (Siegel, 2011, pg 807). They also indicate that the expenses used in accessing quality healthcare will increase.
