Interface is "the zone of relation that comes into being between human beings and machines, device processes, networks, and even organizations" (Hookway's, 2014, p.39). What are popular interfaces? Popular interfaces like the SoundCloud interface, offer music streams, and free music downloads. Another popular interface, Netflix, offers movie suggestions based on ratings and viewing history. What is your new interface? The new interface is a media based interface with several features including a lyrics and musical notes option, streaming music, and suggested songs.

Describe it The media interface will focus on lyrics and song streams. Many people want to see and learn new songs. Think of the app like Sound Cloud, except the user has the option of viewing the lyrics. Another things that websites often do not feature, is the musical notes, composition of songs. People may want to learn to play a song or sing a song that they like.

The interface can then allow the user to access the musical notes, the tempo, and allow them to learn and mimic the song. This is a great to allow users to learn music, lyrics, as well as expose them to the world of music and new music as the interface allows streaming. The interface would be just like the streaming part of Facebook where suggestions of music according to taste will be on the right hand side.

Colorful ads, placed in the bottom with a paid membership option allowing elimination of advertisements. On the left hand side, the lyrics show up with the clickable option of hiding the lyrics and the musical notes as well as the actual song playing placed in the center. The musical notes stream from an up to down motion as the song plays letting users know the time and position of the musical notes in accordance with the pace of the song.

Although an interface like this would take quite a bit of work to implement; game makers created games, making sure to use both song and notes, in order to teach people pitch, musical recognition and tempo. Examples of the game appear in this essay. "Circuits" is available on the Steam Platform. A mixture of the Circuits interface, with the Sound Cloud interface, provides a good indication of what the interface could look like.

Adaptable to different sources Interfaces like the SoundCloud interface lack filters and other things like musical note introduction. Although it has a similar feel and ability to stream music, it still lacks certain features. The new interface can integrate a kid's version of the same things, except filtered. So essentially, it would be the same thing, but in the top right hand corner will be the filter option to remove any potentially offensive songs from the stream and suggestions section.

Finally, artist profiles and social networking links for the site may be featured in the top portion of the website along with a "contact us" link to allow users who have problems, access to someone who may be able to help them. How your interface does this The main purpose of such a website is to show new users and current users how to play music, provides them an easier way to remember lyrics to favorite songs, and gives them access to music they otherwise would never be exposed to.

It is a chance to expand musical tastes and appreciates different genres of music. So many people remain unaware of the level of work it takes to create songs and write lyrics. The interface would use collaborative efforts from artists to blend fully, learning and entertainment. If a user does not like something, they can remove; even have the option of removing a complete genre, providing excellent ways to enable proactive feedback.

If game developers know how to code and design easy to follow interfaces, websites can also be designed in such a way that becomes an enjoyable experience for the user. The interface shows how users may learn how to play music and what recommendations match the user best based on prior selection. An extra feature on the interface, much like it is with Netflix, the survey option, quickly allows users to rate from 1 to 5 stars how much they like a title. Then suggestions appear based on the ratings.

Responsive to feedback The more the user rates, the better the suggestions will be. Users need options and choices when it comes to liking and getting used to an interface. Customization may also be a good option for the interface. Adding downloadable skins they can purchase from a separate section of the website can bring an additional funds and make the person feel like they are receiving a unique experience, a unique interface. People love customizing and a feeling a sense of community.

That is why the chat option and profile design where users can upload a photo gallery will also be a part of the interface. The chat window can appear up top, much like Facebook has. Users can then chat with each other and even share suggestions. There will not be much of a social aspect to the website as social networking in recent trends, has fallen to single purposes.

"New trends indicate that market share might be slipping, as Facebook users (Millennials in particular) are starting to use social networks oriented to a single function, like Twitter's near-constant status updates" (Wyss, 2013). Choice of bright colors, large buttons and text, adaptable interface, and various options like filter and customization allow for an experience that teaches and expands the minds of users. This kind of interface combines the best of several different platforms into a neat and easy to follow interface. It promotes knowledge, variety, and even social connectivity.

Interface should be.
