International financial manager at Apple Inc. is the Senior Financial Analyst who has been serving in this department since October 2005. This individual works in close partnership with the Operations, IS&T and Merchandising departments in launching support, prices and planning changes of the various products of Apple Inc. Currently, Greg Gingo is the Senior Financial Analyst at Apple Inc. And has created and executed system expected commissions through the use of POS systems testing and contract review ("Greg Gingo," n.d.).

Additionally, Greg partners with the store operations on a daily basis in order to identify and understand the transactional behavior resulting in counteractive training. The Senior Financial Analyst also partners with the store operations on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of lessening future outstanding receivables. During his time as the international financial manager at Apple Inc., Greg Gingo has been able to review the carrier level contracts and recognized areas of additional uncollected revenue. These areas of extra uncollected revenue include Fraud Claw back Reimbursements and Market Development Funds.

Gingo served as the Operations Financial Analyst in the Medical Devices Industry at LifeScan i.e. A Johnson & Johnson Company for a period of three years prior to joining Apple Inc. During his early years at Apple Inc., Gingo was the Financial Analyst, a position he held for two years and three months. He has also served as the Financial Support Program Manager at Apple Inc. For two years and is currently the Senior Financial Analyst and is in charge of the company's international financial management.

Approach to Managing Foreign Risks: Given that Apple Inc. is involved in one of the biggest industry around the globe, managing foreign risks is a crucial factor for the company. The international financial manager's approach to managing foreign risks is important for the company to maintain its position in the global market and preserve the loyalty of its customers. As part of his approach to manage foreign risks, the Senior Financial Analyst conducts regular reviews of the company's foreign exchange forward and option positions.

These reviews are not only performed on a stand-alone basis but they are also performed in combination with the company's primary foreign currency and interest rate related exposures ("Quantitative and Qualitative Disclosures," 2010). An example of these reviews includes Gingo's review of the transactional level detail in TRecs and Business Objects in order to identify and assess the trends in revenue disconnects with carriers. The Company also utilizes the financial instruments in the derivative market to lessen its exchange and interest rate risks through options and forward contracts.
