There is no doubt that everything is moving much more quickly these days. Technology and the internet have definitely made our lives easier, evolving to meet almost every need that requires fulfillment, and accommodating a more convenient way of life. Our lives are increasingly becoming more and more effortless. In fact, with the right gadgets and apps, you can work, study, conduct business, and stay in touch with friends and family without having to get off your couch. Why walk all the way to the library when you can obtain answers on just about any question from Google and Wikipedia? Why have your friends over to disturb the peace when you can hold a quick video chat on Skype or Facetime? Why go through all the trouble of getting up from bed one Saturday morning to check whether the weather is ideal for some outdoor activities when you can check the weather directly from your device? Well, the internet came and changed all this. Today, right from the comfort of my apartment, I can check out my favorite playlists on Spotify, or the best tunes on iTunes, and have them synced or downloaded directly to my Smartphone; and then I can sit, relax, tweet out the events to hundreds of followers, and amaze myself with the wide array of replies.
