Healthcare Interview
How do you feel about the answers you got?
The answers are showing how the field of healthcare is continually evolving. At the heart of these changes, is a shift in responsibilities. This means that various professionals are required to work with patients more and continually fulfill various tasks. In a number of cases, these duties have increased exponentially. This area was selected, as these individuals are at the frontline for dealing with the most critical situations.
What prompted you to select this person?
This person was chosen based upon the unique insights they can provide. This is because they are required to work with patients more and continually fulfill various tasks. At the same time, they understand the psychology, customs, behavior and biological factors which are contributing to a host of conditions. This enables them to comprehend the challenges patients are going through and the lasting impact this is having on them. When this happens, they can reduce suffering and improve their ability to cope with the issues they are facing. These insights will help patients to make a full recovery with reduced chances for recurrences in their illness. This is the point they will decrease their number of visits to the organization.
They are also examining the latest technology and how this can be utilized inside a healthcare setting. This enables them to have knowledge about the way these solutions will improve quality and reduce costs. These insights help this person to offer their expertise to other colleagues and administrators about increasing the ability of the organization to meet the needs of stakeholders. In the future, they can serve in a role that will objectively evaluate the protocols the patient is receiving and if it will be effective in achieving these objectives. The result is that they treat patients in a variety of areas. The most notable include: triage, administering medications, determining where to send someone and assessing the severity of their condition. These experiences shaped my attitudes about healthcare by wanting to help people. This is something that offers better insights about what is happening and the impact of various policies and procedures on the quality of care everyone is receiving.
Do you agree with the opinions expressed by the interviewee? Why or why not?
Yes. This is because is a focus on several different variables. The most notable include: practicing kindness, cultivating spiritual practices, being supportive, teaching, creating a healing environment, assisting with basic needs and allowing for open miracles to occur. This is because it focuses on providing leadership and communication. This will enable me to improve professionalism and quality. The most appropriate methods of communication and behaviors in any organizational setting are to use transitional leadership techniques. This is when there is open communication about any kind of issues and solutions for dealing with key problems. At the heart of this focus, is utilizing different strategies that will reach out to employees and administrators. This involves actively listening to what they have to say. Then, implementing them as a part of the basic strategy for dealing with any kind of challenges they will face.
As a result, the behaviors that should be embraced are one of transparency, cooperation and supporting everyone inside the organization. This is when there is a focus on ensuring that everybody feels a part of the team and is willing to do more in reaching its long-term objectives. If this type of approach is used, the organization will be more flexible and can quickly respond to any kind of issues. In many ways, one could argue that this is what some of the most successful firms will do in order to have an impact on them.
This is fueling my sense of motivation in assisting others. It focuses on not only my own personal satisfaction, but the joy I experience when others succeeded. Achieving these goals requires constantly learning and reevaluating existing beliefs. In the future, I hope to be a good role model for others and want to encourage them to do more with their lives. These actions will motivate them to peruse their dreams no matter what.
Have your personal feelings and opinions about healthcare "beancounters" in general changed, especially since the beginning of this course?
Yes. This is because there are other factors besides monetary variables. For instance, Financing and management are two major issues which impact the needs of different stakeholders. In the case of financing, many people cannot afford to pay the high premiums associated with health insurance and will often forgo coverage. Management is a major issue which can affect quality and the availability of services. In this situation, most people will be charged a higher rate if they are not under a government program (such as: Medicare or Medicaid). This is problematic, as these services are unevenly priced for specific programs and are much higher for individual consumers / businesses.
