Intuitive Counselor and the Personality Types

Upon taking the Myers-Briggs test, I came up with the following results for the psychological type that I am.

Personality type: "The Entertainer"

Explorer

People Mastery

Strength of individual traits;

Extraverted: 87%, Observant: 58%, Feeling: 72%, Prospecting: 78%, Assertive: 76%.

The results were largely the type of personality that I have always thought I am since any time I am around friends they always appreciate the openness that I have and also the fun moments that I always create due to the outspoken nature that I have. The entertainer personality also comes out with my readiness to take voluntary roles in team activities and also in our social groups when we are free and many have thought my personality and confidence is suitable for me to be a public entertainer.

The role as an explorer, depending on the various activities that I take part in did not come as a surprise to me. I have an insatiable urge to keep finding new ideas and places and it is a personality that must have been passed down from my mother was also a great explorer in her younger age. This role of an explorer fits in well with the ability to master various personalities that may be expressed by different people that I come across in the process of exploring.

The individual trait that surprised me or seems not to mesh well with what I thought I am is the observant trait. I have always considered myself as one who follows his own intuition and never relied on seeing what others did to execute my next move. Though in the same line, I am pragmatic and hands on or practical in my approach to issues. However, this observation could be right since it is not about where we channel our physical energy but mental energy.

The test also indicated that I make decisions based on feeling rather than thinking. This involves taking care of the emotion of others and always shows empathy to others, always caring more for the social harmony and cooperation than the success of my intentions. This is true and has always enabled me to get along with others in the process of my explorations.

The prospecting personality in tactics or how I handle issues also merges well with the personality that I have always thought myself to be. I often identify chances and where there is a challenge I always try to improvise a way out. This also confirms my trait of having an independent mind and being a nonconformist yet flexible and having an ear for the opinions of others.
