The Invesco limited company is involved in independent investment management. They take money from various clients and invest the money for them in securities such as bonds or business shares and also assets such as real estate. According to their corporate website, it is Invesco's goal to help investors achieve financial objectives, whatever business or industry the individual client wishes to invest in. Investment management firms like Invesco function as a mediator between the individual client and the business or company that he or she wishes to invest in. Invesco is also responsible for researching investment opportunities and recommending to their various clients where they believe the best potential return for an investment is, and also to discourage clients from investing in ventures which Invesco does not trust or does not believe to be financially logical.

According to the company, there are virtues they believe they possess which allows them to provide better service to their clients. The virtues include: strength, stability and longevity. The company is dedicated to the clients it possesses and to ensuring there is no malfeasance within the organization. In order to fit their business strategies to the market, Invesco operates within certain investment parameters. The client must choose which of these potential investments is right for him, using self-efficacy and responsibility in their decision. Invesco strives to prevent any bias from entering their conversation with clients in any that might be considered interfering with the desires of the single individual client despite individual feeling or past experience on the part of the agent.

By only investing in ways where there is limited personal interaction and where any outstanding relationships are completely forbidden and thoroughly investigated allows the company to promise that they are investing and advising with the least amount of bias and also that they are offering their clients the most diverse opportunities for investment.
