For example, if the cultural beliefs that Asian-Americans have about being quiet and respectful when it comes to conflict were shared across companies, it might eliminate the way that American workers feel towards this group of people when they work with them.
Having misconceptions and bad information flowing around a company can never lead to good things. It is the company's responsibility to make the workplace environment as friendly for everyone as possible. In order to do this they have to dispel negativity in every way possible. Having a good diversity training program allows companies to get everyone on the same page per say and not only eliminate any discrimination problems that may be occurring presently, but also eliminate future problems that may arise.
Having a diverse workplace can be a very positive thing for a company that allows it to prosper and grow. Taking advantage of many viewpoints and talent resources is a great way to stay ahead of the competition. The key is for management to be able to tap this diversity without it ruling the workplace in a negative way.

Also, the Japanese sushi masters of the past would not trust such a non-Japanese individual. Both the book and the review use the whiteness of Cole as kind of
