Select one of the four NY Times articles presented in the link about the Triangle Shirt Factory Fire. Answer these questions about the sources: How many sources are presented? How many of those sources are documents? How many are human sources? Are any expert sources cited? If so, what expertise do they provide for the story?

There is the policeman/reporter exchange that occurs at the "Leaped Out of the Flames" section.

There are Harris and Blanck mentioned a bit later after that (same section)

Hyman Meshel is mentioned in the next section

Chief Coker is mentioned in the "Found Alive" section http://trianglefire.ilr.cornell.edu/primary/newspapersMagazines/nyt_032611.html?sto_sec=fire

2. Select another of the four NY Times articles presented in the link about the Triangle Shirt Factory Fire. Note the attribution provided. How does it compare to the way attribution of quotes is handled today? Elaborate fully and give SPECIFIC examples from the Triangle Shirt Factory Fire article you selected and from the current news article you have selected for comparing quotes and attribution.

- The very first paragraph links the details directly to the recollections and history of Max Rother. There was a recitation of where he was, what he heard and what happened in the aftermath shortly thereafter.

There was a similar attribution in the third paragraph, as given by Cecilia Walker. It gives her address and her age and how she had to slide down the cable. This led to bruises and burns. This surely has to be recited to the reported after the fact unless the reporter happened to see it. That is not really made clear but it is probably an account from after the fact, to be honest.

The pattern continues later on with M. Samilson and Samuel Levine. Their locations relative to the city/the fire, what happened to them and what they experienced are recited.
