An employee who is dissatisfied with their role in the organization and who has sufficient financial stability might leave the organization before finding a different job. Even without financial security, workplace dissatisfaction may be great enough to take the risk. Specific events will range from discrimination/sexual harassment to the refusal of a supervisor to offer a promised pay raise.

Which dimensions of job satisfaction are most important to you? Explain

Being treated with respect is one of the most important aspects of job satisfaction. Similarly, it is important for an employee to feel empowered and to be able to voice concerns to management without fear. The workplace environment also contributes to job satisfaction.

Would you accept less pay to work in a job with better coworkers? Explain

Yes, I would accept less pay to work in a job with better coworkers because quality of life is more valuable than the extra income. I need to feel good about going to work every day.

4. How important is doing work that you find enjoyable? Explain

Doing work I find enjoyable is the most important aspect of my career. Work comprises a great part of my time. Therefore, I need to take pleasure and pride in that aspect of my life. Enjoyable work also translates into higher productivity.

1. What are the various types of developmental relationship, and when might each be useful for employees? Explain

An employee can be developed formally through training programs or informally through a mutual dedication to the organization. A mentor-mentee relationship is also a developmental one. Employees benefit from all types of developmental relationships, which improve employee skills, networking ability, and empowerment.

2. What are different types of developmental work experiences, and when might each be useful for employees? Explain

A developmental work experience is one in which the employee learns valuable skills and possibly even shifts into other fields. All developmental work experiences are useful for employees because they build character, social and job-specific skills.
