This is to express my interest in pursuing Master in Supply Chain and Operations Management program at your college. I am a holder of Bachelor of Commerce; Major in marketing (John Molson School of Business Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec) and a Diploma in Commerce & International Business (Cegep Vanier College, Ville St. Laurent, Quebec), these two form my foundation on which I would like to add the masters program. I strongly feel that this masters program will act to strengthen further my academic credentials in the contemporary job market and make me more relevant in the competitive corporate world. I am a highly energetic person with strong interpersonal qualities and great organizational and the capacity to deliver under pressure. Supply Chain and Operations Management, which is my field of interest concerns itself with the management of the flow of goods. The flow of goods involves the transportation and storage of the company raw materials, inventory of the work-in-process, and movement, safe handling and storage as well as inventory of finished products from point of origin to point of consumption with the maximum possible safety. This presents an interesting link between the company and the client and even more interesting is to play the significant notch in overseeing the entire process.

The two diplomas that I hold, coupled with the work experience that I have in the communication and client relations serve to bring wealth of knowledge to the masters program and will be of perfect complementarity with the masters program that I would like to undertake at your college given a chance. My work experience dealing with the logistics, client relations and administrative coordination among large number of clients indicates my inalienable interest in handling projects and involving people hence this masters program will best suit me. My professional experience handling individual to groups of clients, overseeing the implementation of project internally and externally as well as ensuring purchases are made at the right time will be relevant in providing a basis for pursuing the masters program since it will be evidently building on an experience field that is similar in application and approach to the masters program I am to pursue. I believe the program will equip me with advanced knowledge on how to handle complex assignments given by my organization and enrich my personal approach to communication and client relations since these are part of my daily work experience. Having worked as an administrative assistant, sales associate and lately as administrative coordinator, these skills will be very much in line with the masters program that I intend to pursue and the work experience at different levels since 2009 to date would effectively bridge the slight gap in the minimum requirements to join the program.
