Letter of Recommendation: Kathy Bloom

We recently had the pleasure of working with Kathy Bloom in her capacity as intern here at Morgan Lane. Her internship was arranged to last from February 2015 to April 2015. Kathy's vivacious and friendly nature, along with her impeccable work ethic and excellent personal presentation made her a true asset to the company, and one we will regret losing. However, we are aware that Kathy needs to broaden her horizons, and we send her on her way with only the best wishes and highest hopes for a future that is doubtlessly bright.

First, an internship at Morgan Lane is hard work. Kathy's duties included creating and updating the projection chart for lingerie orders for the winter period of 2015. She was also required to update press news on Morgan Lane's website, where she had to create news articles and other interesting promotional information about Morgan Lane. She also showed her creative abilities by making a mood board on Pinterest for Valentine's Day, 2016. Furthermore, she created a pink line board for future collections. She conducted all these duties with the flair of a young person who is truly passionate about what she does. I believe that she will transfer this passion to whichever environment she chooses to enter as employee in the future. Kathy is a person who truly goes above and beyond the call of duty not only out of a sense of duty to her employers, but also to herself as a person who takes pride in everything she does.

In addition to her creativity, Kathy has shown nothing but an impeccable work ethic. Although creative persons often seem to be somewhat out of touch with their sense of duty, this is not the case for Kathy. She is the perfect combination of duty and flair, and she will be an asset to any workplace.

Her personal presentation during her internship with us was equally impressive. As a lingerie company, we want our employees to project an image of beauty, serenity, and femininity to its customers. Kathy understood this perfectly from day one. Her outfits were as creative and feminine as herself. She arrived at work impeccably dressed, with a sense of flair that was both creative and in keeping with the image Morgan Lane tries to project with its creations. During her time here, Kathy endeared herself to everyone with her understanding of Morgan Lane's mission and vision, and by fitting in as one of the team from the start.

As for her interpersonal relationships, Kathy showed herself from the start to be a person who loves to communicate and work with people. This, of course, is an important asset in the lingerie business. With customers and coworkers alike, Kathy went out of her way to be both friendly and understanding. She is also excellent at handling conflict with both coworkers and customers; her active listening skills soon identified her as a person who could resolve conflict in a way that was neither confrontational nor weak.
