The development of estimates is a result of precise analysis of the project's special features and consideration of the available resource and spare capacity to implement a project. Failure of consideration to this extent leads to failure of a majority of the IT projects. IT project planners rely on backdated measures of estimation.

These compromises the effectiveness of estimates made since they are not responsive to the changes in the environment and the need to alter how resource need to be put to effective use. In estimating IT, project the management has no measures that can facilitate monitoring and control of outcome compared to the estimates. Lack of this type of control nullifies previous project estimate, and their implementation is rather more ad hoc (Nelson & Morris, 2014).

In order to overcome possibility in the occurrence of such outcomes, it is important that reliance on past information be evaluated the assessment and analysis by a developer. The developer needs to have an overall understanding of the projects needs the dynamic nature of the IT field and incorporate these into the projects estimates. Come up with a clear measure to monitor and control the IT project from the implementation stage all the way to the project completion stage.

This will facilitate corrective measure be undertaken in a timely and accurate measure. The project estimators and managers need to be trained in more recent and precise measures of evaluating and implementing projects. The project resource, especially the human resource need to have the requisite knowledge in implementing the project. The human resources also need to have the training to facilitate their management of their implementation of the project.

Attaining a Cohesive Workforce within an IT Project Team Within a workforce, there is a need to have a cohesive workforce in order to attain a desirable outcome. In most instances, the workforce comes from different backgrounds and their differences may work to compromise the effectiveness of the employees as a team. To manage such a team, there is a need for management to carry out a practice in the organization that upholds the differences within the workforce.

The management ought to ensure that the employee learns the differences that exists between them and understands these differences. This understanding will eliminate the striking differences and encourages sharing and discussion within the group. As opposed to having each individual undertaking their own special duties in order to avoid conflict, it is important that the management consider putting the employees in groups that encourage and recognize teamwork. This ensures that none of the employees will consider themselves important without the other.

Emphasis on group work ensures all individuals in the group are considered important and relevant to the final group output. Also, consideration for team building exercise before initiation of every project implementation activities is ideal for attainment of the desired cohesiveness in the group (El-Sofany, Awadani, & Alwadani, 2014) Alignment of the organization's goal to.
