There is a thrill that bathes the soul when you accomplish something you aspired to achieve. This thrill is at times inexplicable to another and is only apprehended by those who have themselves accomplished. It is not the pleasing of parents or the attainment of subsequent employment that drives this approach. Rather, it is the personal knowledge that against the odds and through difficult trials you are able to succeed. You fought with yourself and you were victorious. There is nothing comparable to it.

The two types of motivation exist simultaneously. While the internal motivation provides greater drive and push it is supported by external sources of motivation.
