South Side Help Centre (SSHC), established in June 1987, is intended to assist individuals of all age groups adopt a lifestyle of avoidance of mental, social as well as physical ills through the provision of positive, healthy choices that allow the community inhabitants to lead useful lives. Aids Project of the East Bay is a community-founded association that is committed to avoiding the spread of HIV, and encouraging the people surviving with the virus through programs aimed at some of the highly susceptible as well as marginalized people in the county of Alameda.
