Ideally, the objective is to refrain from sustaining injuries and to involve myself in a program that will gain as much attention as possible to so that I can most effectively market my talents. Finally it is necessary to discern what types of coaches are involved at the sports teams I am considering, which can greatly affect an athlete's success.

My professional basketball and baseball options involve enrolling in a collegiate program or attempting to get drafted by a professional sports team. Both options have the potential to yield considerable lucrative options. Additionally, it is possible to take the former option in able to get a higher pick and more benefits in the latter option after a couple of years in college.

The O'Bannon case will affect my decision because it will make it possible for me to receive remuneration for my sports activities while still in college. Previously this option was not available. Thus, the O'Bannon ruling makes attending college out of high school much more lucrative than it previously was. Myles should attend college and then the draft for baseball, which yields a longer career life than basketball, typically.
