Nursing is a profession which is focused on facilitating health management and services. It is a kind of job which will require somebody to have the highest regards on sciences, human health and human behavior. It is a profession which will need a lot of patience, perseverance, skills and knowledge before one can perform effectively in the responsibilities attached for such job. Needless to say, nursing is a profession which will fit those who have medical and health management interests and those who are willing to serve the people by heart.
From the very beginning, Mr. Nurse already knows that there is no better profession for him but to be a nurse. Even on his secondary years, he is very much interested in studying science-related subjects such as biology, anatomy and other general sciences. He has shown curiosity in human health, medicines and even on different health and medical providers. He had advance readings on topics related to various types of illnesses and its treatment. Back then, he already knows that his hands, mind and body are made to perform in a clinical setting where patients and other medical professionals abound.
Taking a degree in nursing will fulfill Mr. Nurse's career goals. He intends to be a professional nurse and would even want to pursue graduate courses, also related to nursing, when he deemed it necessary. While still in the university, he planned to volunteer in civic oriented groups like the Red Cross and several other organizations where he believes he can learn and experience things related to his interests. He also intends to do his research related to nursing and medical costs which is an ongoing issue in the healthcare world nowadays. He is also very keen to reach the internship stage of the nursing degree as he already wants to have hands-on experience with other professional medical providers like the nurses and GPs and he already wants to face different types of patients with varied kinds of illnesses.
After taking the Bachelor of Nursing degree, he aims to practice in either the government or private owned hospitals. He intends to serve the public by rendering quality health service based on what he would be learning in the university and from the series of internships which he knows are significant parts of the BSN course.
Mr. Nurse is very much aware that nursing involves not only the technical aspect of healthcare since it at the same time involves critical analysis and management for situations that requires urgent decision-making. These situations may be too critical for the patients as much as it is critical for the healthcare practitioners - that includes the registered nurses. Specialized courses are offered with BSN that are significant in the growing complexities concerning the healthcare industry. He is also aware that by taking this degree in Nursing, he will be able to render service in areas where he is truly interested in and at the same time where he will be most efficient in doing with.
