Mission: The mission of my proposed business will be to bring high-quality organic groceries at an affordable price to busy consumers through an online delivery service

Macro environment situation analysis:

Pros: There is an increased interest in eating healthfully and sustainably amongst the public. However, many people do not feel that they have the time to cook or shop, and tend to rely upon prepackaged or processed goods to feed their families. My business would allow consumers to order online and have groceries delivered to their door after work. This would circumvent the need for shopping. The product range would stress organic and seasonable produce and farm-produced meat and dairy items.

Cons: Because of the downturn in the economy, many people are cutting back in the 'small luxuries' they allow themselves in their lives. Cutting back on food costs is one of the first ways that people tighten their budgets.
