¶ … Heart Full of Love," by Mother Teresa. Specifically it will choose two sections of the book were especially important, and explain why they made an impact. Mother Theresa's book is really a collection of speeches and other writings and quotations she gave throughout her life. They tend to illustrate why she did the things she did to help the poor of India, and to illustrate her own great faith in God and determination to serve him.

One of the most memorable portions of the book was Mother Theresa's speech in Dublin about the lack of food for the children. Unless they found food, all the people who relied on her for meals would starve. She says, "Our children, as well as our seven thousand needy ones, ate bread and even more bread for two days. They had never eaten so much bread in their lives. No one in Calcutta could find out why the schools had been closed. But I knew. It was God's tender care. I knew it was his tender loving care" (Mother Theresa 44). This section was particularly important because of the undying faith the nun places in God. She, of course, set up the kitchens and did the work, but when there was an emergency, she never questioned her faith, or God's will. It indicates just how deep her faith was, and how much she managed to accomplish in her life because of her faith.

Another section, where she gathers up the poor, the drunk, and the addicted on the streets was also especially moving (Mother Teresa 28), because it is so clear she did not worry about her own safety or well being at all, she was simply concerned about helping others and spreading the word of God above else. Her story is entirely selfless, and it is difficult to say that about very many people these days. Both of these accounts illustrate how "good" Mother Teresa was. She should be a saint, because that is what se was on earth.

Few people can say they never heard of Mother Teresa. Her name is synonymous with goodness, charity, and selflessness. Far fewer people many understand the real reason she is known for these many endearing and legendary qualities. "One Heart Full of Love" is a compellation of speeches and interviews by Mother Teresa, and it eloquently indicates just why she is so revered by the faithful. Her work took her faith around the globe, and her always-smiling face indicated the reverence of her faith and dedication to her work.
