Abstract

This is a business plan for starting a small online marketing firm. It discusses the marketing strategies, pricing and sales tactics for the company. The paper analyzes the budget, sales forecast and item needed to start the company. The paper also layout various different marketing strategies, planning and analysis of potential clients available for the firm.

Business Plan

Biz Online is a start up company, which will be located on the 13th Floor of the Grown Plaza Wing B, the Business Outsourcing Section in New York City. Its main mission is to offer a world class professional, online-based marketing consultancy and services to both local and international firms.

The Company profile:

The Biz Online will be a limited liability company registered under the companies Act, and that the Company is LIMITED under the Law of the United States and based in New York for tax purposes and legal disputes thereto.

The company's main clients will be Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Business Processing and Outsourcing (BPO) firms, online Shopping companies, Hotel industry, ICT firms, First food restaurants, Higher Learning Institutions and Artifacts dealers. The companies which intend to reach a wider range of market both local & international markets. Since the founder has greater interest in marketing, and the virginity in the industry. She does understand the people within this demographic group and knows and understands this market's needs, she believes that she can appeal to such clients far more than most other competitors.

1.7. The Products and services:

The Biz online will offer a wide range of marketing consultancy services and products to both local and international companies such as:

Promotion of goods and services online

Promotion of social networking pages such as facebook, twitter, youth tube, LinkedIn and Google

Online Advertisement services

Promotions of other companies' websites

Offer free sample and gifts to market products online (Coupon)

Provide Groupon services

i. To provide a professional online promotion of goods and services to both local and international companies

ii. To build a successful web on marketing tool which could assist companies meet their market needs

2.0. Marketing Strategies

2.1. Potential Client/Customers:

The Biz online will concentrate on three market segments as its potential clients. This will be to focus, on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) specialist in it in Software Technology, Clothing malls with emphasis on women attires and fast food restaurants.

2.2. Competitor

The Biz online sees Jevas Limited as its' greatest competitor in the market, the Jevas Limited is located in New York City. It has over fifteen employees working within its premises. Jevas Limited has been operating for a close to five years. We belief it has market base with a public name which might give it an advantage over Biz online. It is evidence, Jevas is familiar to the market and it has a good number of employees compare to Biz online. Therefore, it adds advantage to the Jevas because of the market and reputation already been build.

2.4. Pricing

The Biz online shall use international standards when it come to pricing of its prices. It shall use template pricing from other reputable international firms such Groupon international, based in the United States and Canada when deriving its prices. This is because some of its services shall be universal and prices could be applied universally. but, when apply pricing in regionally market the company shall take the size of the client and turnover in consideration. For example when giving a price to SMEs within the local market, the price would be different with Kentucky Fried Food restaurant which is an international firm. Therefore our prices shall not be fixed.

2.5. Sale tactics

I shall involve different sale tactics to meet the demand of the market. The company shall have sales section, which shall be in charge of reaching market already created by the marketing team. We shall employ gorilla tactics whereby sales people are send to the client premises to discuss and delivery the service or make a deal.

The Biz online shall also have a group of sales representative based in the office. These sales representatives shall be tasked with outsourcing potential clients' telephone number and calling them. However, we intends to sale most of our services through online. Every client who would like to buy any of our services could simply login on our system and make payment through their Visa cards. Finally, Biz online intends to have a sales desk in the office as its long time objectives, to listen to clients, call clients and solve their query amicable.

2.6. Promotion

The Biz online intends to minimize its expenditure it uses for promotion and advertisement. Therefore, it plans to use mostly free mode of publicity and few paid media advertisement. We shall use facebook, twitter and LinkedIn for free publicity. However, it shall make some paid advertisement and promotion on facebook and yahoo search engine.

2.6.1. Media

The company shall use both electronic and print media as away of reaching the market. It intends to have two advertisements per month, on the local New York Times with a clear description of our services and location. Besides, advertisement, the Biz online shall have at least two advertisements on the local TV cable.

2.6.2. Social Networking

Since social networking has become giant of publicity competition. The Biz online wouldn't be left out, but would thumb its presence by creating facebook, twitter and LinkedIn accounts. These accounts shall be created with special interest, not only to interact with our already fetched customers. But to maintain them and get more connections which could create more market for our services. These accounts would be maintained and get updated periodically, to the public on up-to-date on happenings within the company relations to its services.
