I feel that making a contribution is something you need to do every day. It does not need to be a large contribution every day, but some contribution should be made. Another key component to my strategy will be actively seeking those areas in which I can make the most difference. There are so many opportunities to contribute to society, and I feel that if I am able to choose the right ones for me, I will make the greatest contribution. In order to identify these opportunities I must continually educate myself with regards to my community. I want to understand it and its needs. This will help me find out where I belong.

I feel that my statement is based on timeless, proven principles. Integrity and a hard work ethic have helped to build this country and if I follow that same path I too will succeed. Great change has been achieved not just through good deeds, but through inspiring and motivating others to do their own good deeds. I feel that my mission represents the best within me. It is a personal challenge to not become absorbed in the minutiae of everyday life, but to focus on making the great changes and having a positive influence on those around me. This mission will be difficult to achieve at times, a fact that indicates to me it does push me to bring my best to this world every single day.

My statement definitely inspires me. I respond to challenges and there is no doubt...

It may be difficult to truly have an impact on this world yet I know that people do it every day. I will be one of those people, too. My focusing on three basic elements of life - family, work and community - I feel that I have provided a solid framework with which to approach my mission but have left enough flexibility that I will be able to find the best place for me.
My mission points me in the right direction and I know I have the skills to get me there. I am intelligent, disciplined and I love to see my work contribute to the lives of others. I love to help. My mission fits well with these skills. Yet I also know that I could fail, and from that I draw a lot of motivation. If achieving my mission in life is easy, I would not be motivated but I know it will require a lot of work and I derive my motivation from that challenge. I want to leave the world a better place than I found it. I can always turn to this mission statement for guidance when faced with a challenge. We can all achieve this, if we are committed to it. This is not just my personal mission statement. It is my commitment to my family and my community.

Similar to Gestalt therapy, I also did not incorporate existentialist thinking into my theory. However, similar to Jungian analytical psychology and Gestalt therapy, I view this type of therapy as very philosophical in its' nature and application. Therapy methods that are very philosophical in their application do not appeal to me because they do not seem to adequately address the "real-life" problems, and instead seek vague answers that can be

Personal Responsibility Introduction-What is Personal Responsibility? Personal responsibility, by definition, is all about how an individual takes up accountability for his/her actions and accepts the burdens and consequences that come along with them and agrees the fact that his/her actions leave an impact on everyone around him/her. Mission and Vision Statements Why it is important to establish your vision and mission before you begin your administrative internship? In my opinion, the relevance of having a clear and definite vision and mission in place prior to beginning one's administrative internship cannot be overstated. For purposes of this discussion, a vision will be taken as that mental picture one possesses with regard to a given undertaking. On the other hand, a

To contribute to this kind of objective requires: taking consistent actions through community service and a deep passion for helping people as much as possible. In this aspect, my goals and faith are intersecting, which is another reason why I believe I am good fit for the university. As Pepperdine's mission statement encourages everyone to engage in community service, to help address various social issues. This is important, because as

Personal Philosophy of Education Describe the resulting curriculum planning process. My philosophy as a realist / experimentalist (leaning more towards experimentalist) is that students need to critically examine historical events in context (why did certain important events happen and was the result what was expected?); they need to understand (although they don't have to agree with) contemporary social values (some of which are not rational) and how to reconcile their future place
