I have learned many valuable lessons during my high school education even if it does not reflect on my transcript. It is my desire to attend your college and to work toward the goals of being a coach. First, I must acknowledge my transcripts poor showing. I have the potential to be a success in any field that I choose. My SAT scores indicate this with a score of 1170. My transcripts of high school show that when I began high school I wanted to play and have fun.

I have proud of many things I have done in high school, but I am not proud of my academic failure. I procrastinated and failed to apply myself to my schoolwork until the last portion of my high school. Sadly, my grade point average is only a 2.6. However, I have worked hard to bring a low grade point average up to where it is now. I have often pondered the thought of being able to choose my own classes.

Classes that would interest me and help me to be motivated to do my very best in the classes I choose. This is one area that high school does not truly offer. The concept of choosing classes and working toward my physical education classes is exciting to me. I am looking forward to classes that will offer the learning skills that I need to get my degree. However, I do realize there will be subjects that I might not enjoy.

I have learned during the last year that all classes have something to offer. Many of my teachers and counselor believe I have the ability to achieve my goals if I apply myself to the talk. This I promise to do. I have learned my lesson about procrastinating and not applying myself during my last year of school. One of my problems in high school has been that my father was born in Germany and my mother was born in Puerto Rico.

I am not good at all with languages and it has shown on my transcripts. I will be the first one to be born in the United States in my immediate family.
