¶ … personalities and motivations. My friends describe me as a loving and caring, honest, generous, and peaceful person. I am motivated by a strong urge to not only help those in need, but also create a better world. Loving and Caring I hate to see others suffering. Whenever I am in a position to lend my assistance, I do so without reservations.

I have a strong feeling that if each and every person did their best and played the role of a caring neighbor, a lot of suffering would be done away with for good. For instance, to many of us, $10 is loose change. However, to that beggar on the street, this 'pocket change' is enough cash for several meals. Mine is the desire to put a smile on other people's faces. Honest I also tend to value honesty.

For this reason, I loathe deceit and dislike those people who have a tendency to lie. It is by being honest that we gain the trust of others. In my opinion, it would be better to give people a factual account of events and have them deal with the naked truth at that point -- regardless of the pain in might cause them, that to lie or deceive them and postpone the pain. 3. Generous I believe that we all have something to give.

We are all blessed in different ways and therefore, what I could be having in surplus someone else could be lacking. Similarly, what I could be lacking someone else could be having in excess. The world would definitely be a better place if we all understood the true value of generosity. On my part, I will always be ready to show kindness towards others by being generous - be it by giving my time, money for worthy causes, clothing to those who don't have, etc. 4.

Peaceful Next, I also value peace. In that regard, I always play a role in ensuring that peace prevails not only in my neighborhood, but also at the state, national, and global levels. This I do by, amongst other things, maintaining a harmonious relationship with those around me, playing the role of 'peacemaker' whenever close acquaintances or group members are in conflict, and opposing skewed government policies that prioritize war, as opposed to peace.

My Motivations I am motivated by the strong urge to help those in need and create a better world for the coming generations. I respect and honor those who prioritize communal/global interests, as opposed to personal interests. I believe that if each individual acted responsibly and was rational enough (i.e. By promoting peace and being his/her neighbor's keeper), the world would become better than it already is.
