¶ … desire to study pharmacy in this school is motivated through my personal and practical desire to exercise my knowledge about pharmacy in the greatest way possible. One of my primary motivations why I want to study pharmacy is because I am thoroughly interested in this course especially since it concerns the study of math and science, two subjects that I excelled on in high school. Pharmacy also provides me with the academic challenge that I want to have since I've always wanted to know how drug is made and works for people who need it; the nature of how drugs and medicine can affect people's lives directly is a good study of the wonders of the study of medicine.

Aside from the academic challenge that Pharmacy provides for the student, this course also provides the student with the most number of patient contact. Patient contact is important for me because it is my personal opinion that the people are the foremost consideration in the conception, production, and use of a new drug or medicine, and my want to help others to have easier access to important drugs and medicines are stemmed from the fact that I've worked in a job that made me realize the wants and needs of the people. As a salesperson, I became aware of how important it is for people to be satisfied in a product that they had bought. If a customer buys something that has a significant effect on their lives, then I as a salesperson am happy too because my customer was satisfied over a small thing such as being able to buy something that changed his/her life. Aside from the academic and personal rewards of studying Pharmacy, the said course is also economically beneficial, since pharmacists are well-paid and usually offered stable jobs. All of the reasons that I have mentioned are the primary motivations why I wanted to study Pharmacy under the supervision of Drs. Henry Lee and Lewis Henry, and be able to realize my dream of becoming a pharmacist who can make a significant contribution to the people and the society in the best and most significant way possible.
