Philosophy Of Nursing Has Undergone Essay

Many new nursing theories focus on the relationships between the nurse and the patient. New theories focus on four major components of the nursing field: the person, the environment, health, and nursing. Globalization and the innovation that it brings will have the greatest impact on the nursing profession in the future. Nurses of the future will find themselves participating in an increasingly diverse and technologically advanced environment. These trends are affecting the entire field of medicine and will eventually have an impact on the nursing profession as well. Nurses of the future will have the advantage of a global network of peer consultants at their disposal.

In order to be prepared for future advances in the field of nursing, it is important to gain a broad base of knowledge that is well-founded in theory. I feel that the accelerated BSN program will provide the best chance to attain the type of education that is necessary in order to meet the future challenges of the nursing profession.
