Since I was young, I have been fascinated by the art of photography. This is the area that I have always wanted to explore more. I believe this is the topic that I find so engaging and makes me lose all track of time. It captivates me since the sense of art and style with which the photographers capture the moment, the sight or vision with which they see a view that an open eye cannot see, is versatile.
Photography allows people to think and grow in new dimensions as it records events and views with different perspectives that might not have been captured previously. It is the medium through which one can share his life experiences by giving them a new meaning that others might not have thought of before. It depends on how engaging the pictures, be it just of a leaf, to make the viewers think about the object’s beauty.
The art of photography revisits the importance of beauty as it recreates memories in a manner that the naked eye cannot do. Since the human eye can see and store the memories in his mind, photography allows the person to see those memories again in the same style as they were viewed before and immortalize them for the coming days. Even in old age, when pictures are seen in an album again, the childhood memories, for example, are re-lived by an old person, which could be a source of solace for him. It is a provenance of staying connected with those days that cannot be possible otherwise.
Although smartphones have solved the problem of capturing precious moments anytime, anywhere, one now does not need to buy a separate camera for this very purpose; it has become easier for anyone to become a photographer. Even new techniques and names for these styles have not been invented before, such as ‘selfie.’ One could take this kind of photo by focusing the camera on one’s face to take a photo either individually or with friends and family. Keeping this new usage in mind, the smartphone manufacturers thought of revitalizing the concept by providing a ‘front’ camera with a certain number of megapixels to create a clearer photo and not having to rotate the camera in an awkward way for taking selfies, which was difficult to even hold in hands.
It is well-perceived that photos are taken to capture the moments; however, I have been more fascinated by making it a craft and practicing it daily for improving my pertinent skills. It does not include only taking pictures from a smartphone; it includes taking pictures of nature or historical buildings and places not accessible to the normal public.
