Physical Appearance vs. Education Many people have debated the relationship between appearance and education and their roles in people's lives. Physical appearance is certainly important and is the basis for other's impression of you. However, there are also many reasons why education is equally important, or more important, in many regards. Appearance is less important when there is a clear task that needs to be accomplished. Education is something that empowers people to be more effective in their careers. Although it is difficult to judge whether physical appearance or education is more important in various situations, it is clear that people may have their different views on the issue and those views are not always the same.

Willy rates the value appearance higher than education for his family. However, the importance of appearance is not really what he makes of it. I personally feel that education definitely more important than physical appearance for a variety of reasons. Although beautiful people can find many advantages in life, education is what can open up the world of self-improvement.
I think that education is more important than physical appearance, or even natural talent, primarily because it allows a person to grow. With an education you can create new opportunities for your life that are not dependent upon the genetic lottery. Even though school can be difficult, it prepares people to embark upon new challenges with the tools that have been imparted upon them by society in general. Education is important to me…
