¶ … Marymount Library
What I like about Marymount library is the online chat function that allows me to communicate with a librarian during business hours in case I need any help finding a source or citing information. I like this function because in the past I have been reluctant to bother librarians in person at other libraries, as I don't like to bother people if I can help it -- so I would spend more time that I should have wrestling with locating a source or figuring out how to cite something. But with this library online chat function, I know that there is someone just sitting there waiting for questions, and I don't feel like I am bothering them and it is very easy to hop online and get immediate help. So that is very appealing.
Another thing about Marymount library that I like is the "free money" which is added to the student account for printing purposes each month. This is a great incentive to use the library and to take advantage of its printing resources -- as it doesn't cost a thing to use them. But, of course, the library has other great incentives too: it has a refreshment corner, it's quiet for studying, there are 40+ computers, and all kinds of different print resources to help with class research.
As my program is Business Administration/Hospitality Management I can see the library being very helpful in my success as it affords a great place to go when I need to do both researching and writing -- and the added bonus of refreshments and a cafe just add to the appeal (because sometimes it is nice to have a little something to boost one's energy when doing creative work that writing).
