Human population has been increasing gradually in the past sixty years. Human survival is based heavily on the uncontrolled exploitation of the environment. This has led to serious environmental destruction, which is threatening the existence of the generations to come. This study shows that equitable management of the environmental sustainability avenues requires a need to have a long range of performances directed at influencing the rate at which the human population is growing.
¶ … Worldwide Population Increase Affect Planet
The world population is a lucrative endeavor that has influential effects on the immediate environment. One of the changing or growing avenues of the planet is that of the enlargement of the human population. Initially, the human population was perceived as a small entity within a vast planet. Nonetheless, the human population has been on the increase over the past centuries. Many lucrative approaches and human activities are part of the changes that have occurred because of the increase in human population in the planet. The avenues of performance within the spectral and planetary stratifications account to the many steps that have been taken by human beings in the environment. The environment is a fragile structure and body that deserves equitable management and security. In order to foster equitable management of the environmental sustainability avenues, there is a need to have a long-range of performances that are directed at influencing on the rate at which the human population is growing (Axelrod et al., 2011).
The human population is on the increase and will continue to be on the increase. The existence and growth of the living organisms is a directive that initiates a good avenue of managing the growth and development of the flora and fauna. Growth is necessary in every living organism. Moreover, the avenues of performances and growth and directed at multiplication of the available avenues of growth and development in the society. The greatest importance in controlling and managing the environment lies on the simple avenues of existence and productivity in the environment. The present planet has undergone diverse changes because of the differentiation of human activities. The natural existence is also changing because of the need for growth and development. Nonetheless, this aspect of human population is attributed to the many disadvantage and destruction of the immediate environment (Gilbert, 2006). Increase in human population thwarts the natural existence of the environment.
The global environment is one of the most sophisticated phenomena in the world. The issue concerning worldwide population increase and climate change has often attracted myriad controversies as concerns its legality or effectiveness. When integrated with the capitalistic nature in which the environment is often utilized, various studies suggest the efficiency of the population as resting upon the people's perception of the worldwide population increase. There is a lot of damage that occurs on the earth's ecosystem. The innate purpose of the ecosystem in support for plant and animal life is under threat due to the humanistic activities, which are contrary to the conservative principles supposed to cater and care for the environment.
Many of the human activities are done against the preservation and conservation measures that ensure an equitable and good use of the environment. The essence of the human population has transcended the human activities and demand much attention and effort from every sector of human involvement in protecting the environment. As such, this study has endeavored to explore on the relationship between population increase and its effects on the planet in essence of environmental protection and preservation. Most of today's difficult environment challenges cannot be overcome as long as the global population system remains in the increasing nature; the problems in the environment man faces now together with its catastrophes are because of the worldwide population increase system (Baer, 2012).
Worldwide population increase existence in the world is under tremendous effects from the living and none living matter. The environment is becoming much of a danger to the existence of the safe human living in their innate flora and fauna. The major disturbances because of human population come from the commercial industrialization, which leads to planet destruction from release of harmful toxins into the atmosphere. These toxic substances often end up in the ecosystems as those of humans and animals thereby causing intense harm to the living organisms in them. Some of the other causes or threats to the planet result from human destruction of the immediate environmental factors.
Because of the worldwide population increase, many environments have been lost in their natural ecosystems. The habitats have been destroyed leaving many plants and animals to wayward and are reduced in their number. The diverse species of these kinds of plants and animals is dying out due to destruction of their habitat. As such, people living in the planet are slowly beginning to lose the natural existence and sophistication of the planet. They are slowly missing their basic food and financial boosters in life.
Global climate changes because of human population increase have brought fierce effects on the living conditions and lives of the poor. To bring to a good control or ameliorate these effects, ways to curtail release of carbon dioxide together with other related harmful green house gases into the atmosphere have to be put under consideration. Individual efforts are significant in places like the U.S. where large percentages of carbon dioxide are released into the atmosphere. This affects the environment together with altering the working of the environment. More ways that are efficient should be involved as relates to management of the global population increase (Newell & Paterson, 2010).
There is a need to reduce human rise in population around and within homes of the poor. This is because of the fact that most of the increased populations in developing nations result in unnecessary influences and destruction of the immediate environment. People should switch to energy efficient populations. For instance, people should replace increasing populations with family planning techniques. Such approaches come because of the destructive features that are realized from the worldwide population increase.
Worldwide population increase is another major pollutant of the environment. This is due to enormous amounts of waste materials being released into the atmosphere. Human wastes are considered responsible as they are ranked third in ranks of carbon dioxide emissions into the environment. This happens in both developed as the U.S. And Canada and developing or poor nations. Practice of fuel-efficient driving is critical, as lack of it has resulted in much emission of dangerous gases into the environment, together with cutting the overall price of the average fuel used by an estimated 30%. Human populations should also cut human dependence on the immediate environment in the world. Most of the expensive human population consume many of the environmental materials, releases much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and contributes to a poor economy of the planet (Newell & Paterson, 2010).
The clash between nature and worldwide population increase leads to intensive destruction of the environment. According to Green, every growth is detrimental to the environment since it often leads or leaves out a destroyed environment. According to Green, human beings have the responsibility of stopping human plundering on the environment that often leaves it in such a bad state (Newell & Paterson, 2010). Man depends upon the environment. This fact cannot be disputed or eradicated in the entire human life.
The current human existence is characterized by a destroyed environment. The immediate effects or products realized after the destruction of this environment cannot be compared to those of the initial usefulness. As stated by Marx, every destroyed environment results in a long-overdue harm like global warming. Growth is not a dirty entity in the human perspective. Moreover, it does not consume much of the environment. The nature in which the environment gets used in order to arrive at increased productivity is dictated by the skillfulness of environmental use. For instance in 1989, Japan made use of only 6% of the environment come up with 46% increase in productivity.
Every detailed use of the environment is effective to the planet. The problem does not lie between people and the environment. People are free to interact with the environment since it is also free to interact with people too. Nonetheless, the manners in which people make use of the environment vary from one geographic location to the other. This is also dependent on the nature of the population in the various parts of the world. The way human beings get organized and yield daily bread from the environment is different in various environments. This organization is what lacks in worldwide population increase perspective as use of the environment is concerned. There is a great difference between man and animals in the sense of consciousness, religion, and many other attributes, which are not part of life in the animal life (Murray, 2008).
The physical organization is what controls every activity within an animals' life. For instance, every increase in human population is triggered by the impulses of immediate need that often results in the destruction of environment without considering its availability in the days to come. Man should be able to adapt to the needs and demands of nature rather than reiterating the needs and demands of the individual people. The earth is the only place now where human life is found. There is no other place other than earth. As such, economists in a more detailed avenue should explore externalities that result from the human increase in population.
When we consider the effects offered by worldwide population increase and its interaction with the environment, man has never appreciated what he or she gets from the environment. The planet is beneficial to man in many ways. The increased population produces destructive gases to the atmosphere. This is very destructive to the environment. It is a nuisance.
Worldwide population increase is the biggest danger human life is gradually facing on the planet. The change in climate is gradually deploying its effects on the magnitude at which human life is being benefited. Although worldwide population increase is still a controversy and a consensus among many scientists, it is a fact that should be accepted, the earlier the better. Worldwide population increase is an overwhelming happening that leads to immediate destruction of the planet. It is a fact the earth is gradually being congested year after year. This is happening because of human intervention and worldwide population increase. The release of green house gases into the atmosphere obviously leads to certain destructions. The green house gases as carbon dioxide are getting into the upper layer of the atmosphere (Newell & Paterson, 2010). Their resultant effect is a blockage of sunrays from directly accessing the earth surface, and that the layer established radiates heat into the atmosphere instead of letting it be released into the atmosphere. At the end of the day, the layer below the "blanket" formed increases in heat with time. All these are happening because of the worldwide population increase.
Worldwide population increase is complex and often hard to explain. That is why many people do not believe this aspect of environmental degradation because of the increase in global population. Global population has been increasing since the 1980s. The recent increase in temperature is due to green house gases that were released into the atmosphere long time ago. Every beneficial human activity within a short time results in a general destruction of the environment; the present state climate is experiencing a rise in temperatures unexpectedly. According to the United States of America National Academy of science, worldwide population increase leads to release of harmful gases into the atmosphere. Human worldwide population increase is to blame.
Various changes have occurred in human life since 1980s depicting a rapid increase of heat levels in the atmosphere. These are all cause by the global increase of human population and interaction with the atmosphere. Many glaciers are melting in various regions of the earth as the Polar Regions. There is the occurrence of knock-on effect within the "dark water" of ice caps that melt and fail to trap heat. There is no intake of carbon dioxide by the permafrost on tundra melts. As such, the level of carbon dioxide keeps increasing in the atmosphere with time because of the global population increase.
