Introduction

   1. Reiterate the main point of the essay.
   2. Highlight the supporting points that back up the thesis statement.
   3. Close out with a final thought to give the reader something upon which to reflect after reading.

   1. Millions of people with PTSD never receive any mental health care at all because of the social stigma associated with mental illness.
   2. PTSD is nonetheless a serious problem, especially among soldiers returning from combat.  Making sure those soldiers get the help they need should be a top priority.
   3. The US needs to address signs of PTSD among soldiers, increase screening for soldiers transitioning to civilian life, and increase health literacy in the public so as to reduce the risk of social stigma.
