The guidelines for professional integrity are focusing on creating moral standards for everyone to follow. A philosophy of integrity can be created by combining these different concepts together. It is as follows, "All educators must have the flexibility to understand how various events will impact students. This requires identifying problems early and addressing them. At the same time, they must provide direction, become a mentor and follow a clear set of ethical standards. This is achieved through integrity, having strong set of principles and consistently practicing them." If these ideas are embraced, educators will be more effective in communicating and interacting with stakeholders. For example, NAEYC Ethical Code of Conduct offers specific insights about how to treat children and moral standards for all teachers. The most notable include: helping children to develop / learn, sustaining of the child / family bond and respective diversity. These areas are used to create the foundation of an educator's beliefs on how to interact with students and other stakeholders. This impacts professional decision making by giving teachers guidance in maintaining these guidelines and solving critical challenges. When this happens, better choices will be made, which are taking into account the interests of the student from numerous perspectives.
