Depending on the environment that a family is in, the division of power can involve more or less problems. Coercive power is the dominant concept in many families as the wife becomes accepting with regard to her position and considers that it would be pointless for her to try and do something in order to improve her condition.
Women have traditionally been encouraged to refrain from accumulating power, as they were taught that it would be wrong for them to assume power similar to how men do it.
