Enlightening the Far West Community in Terms

Here also the need for the project as an alternative certification, career ladder, special support for teachers, as a means to improving faculty skills and a preparation source for bilingual counselors will be highlighted. This section will also include the expected cash figures that will enable the project to be effectively implemented from the development of the curriculum to the support for tuition fees and buying of books.

Statement of need

This is the second part where the potential sponsors need to see that the project is in real existence, in the hands of capable people and that the funding would lead to benefits in the society. Here, the challenge of the community in terms of education is presented with figures like the 70% immigrants issue, the high population in school as compared to the teachers is also presented here. The funder must be made to fully understand that the problem exists and that this project understands the problem and is able to help in solving the education need. This is where the activities of the project are also mentioned in details like the alternative certification programs and how this will be implemented and the cost effect. The significance of the career ladder programs for paraprofessionals. The viability of the bilingual Education/ESL (BE/ESL) certification for regular classroom teachers. Why there should be special support for new teachers. Why there is need for improving the skills of higher education faculty. The preparation of bilingual counselors, school psychologists, and other educational personnel and what that may take to achieve plus any other relevant information that would be of substance to support the emphasis on the need for the program hence the funding.

Project description

Here, the project will be given the following categories; objectives, methods, staffing/administration, evaluation, and sustainability.

This is where the finer details of the proposal are given with the technical details being given and further statistics. The general goal of the project within the community will be described here having in mind the concern areas of education as mentioned above. The objectives of the project will be brought out as the solution to the issues raised above and will indicate how the needs raised above will be met or dealt with, like how the career ladder will be implemented, how the certification process will work and by whom and all the other areas of focus.

This is the section that will deal with the methodology of implementation of the proposed solutions. Here the specific activities that will be involved to ensure professional development activities intended to improve instruction for students with limited English proficiency (LEP) and assists educational personnel working with these students to meet high professional standards will be outlined. It involves the how -- a detailed description of the things that will take place once the project has taken off, and these should be in line with the objectives mentioned earlier on. The fact that the region is dominated by immigrants from Asia is an indication that the project will be a long-term project as there are bound to be more immigrants coming in and the problem will persist.
