Sexual Lyrics Prompt Teens to Have Sex: The research method used in the referenced study was primarily survey/interview and correlation. The researchers collected their data by conducting telephone interviews with teenagers. The researchers then correlated the data to the research question and formed conclusions based on the apparent correlation between exposure to sexually suggestive lyrics and early sexual activity. The following passage provides this information:

The study, based on telephone interviews with 1,461 participants aged 12 to 17, appears in the August issue of Pediatrics, being released Monday. Most participants were virgins when they were first questioned in 2001. Follow-up interviews were done in 2002 and 2004 to see if music choice had influenced subsequent behavior." However, the research cited is incapable of distinguishing cause and effect, because it may be that teens already inclined to early sexuality are simply more interested in sexually explicit music and other forms of entertainment.

The article strongly suggests that exposure to violence on television (in the form of professional wrestling) is a contributing factor to violence among teens, which may be true. However, the research cited is incapable of distinguishing cause and effect, because it may be that teens already inclined to violence are simply more interested in violent television content and other forms of entertainment.

Therapeutic communities are important and valuable tools, but certainly not for all patients. Often, the community is made up of a certain ward or unit of the hospital, rather than the entire facility. The Rorschach test is comparatively less useful in the context of understanding ordinary psychological differences among individuals within the normal range of behavior, but may contribute more directly to identifying various organic psychological dysfunctions related to biochemical processes. Because of its subjective nature, (both in terms of the test itself as well as with respect to its analysis), it is not particularly well- regarded or widely used within the overall

It has not been established as of yet what it is that triggers the remembrance of memories that have been repressed so inducing them in a laboratory environment seems next to impossible. c) With your knowledge, imagine as a future professor how you might be able to help students remember important parts of your lectures. Behavior therapy uses rewards or reinforcements to create positive behaviors in order to replace destructive behaviors. Desensitizing is an important part of this type of therapy, where the patient confronts something they have been unable to deal with, such as a fear or anxiety, and gradually learns to become desensitized to the problem, which eliminates the negative behavior (Editors, 2006). Basically, both therapies give the patient ways to deal with
