Puberty In Boys - Male Thesis

d.). Sexual Implications of Puberty

We already know that puberty is the name given to the physical and emotional changes which take place in most boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 14. But the implications, or possible consequences of that fact is that puberty occurs so that one day the boy or girl will be able to make a baby.

It isn't just the body that changes during puberty. Feelings can change too, and like the changes to the sexual organs, these feelings prepare us to have sex and make babies.

A person can have sexual feelings any time in their life, but these change around puberty. A guy might find some sexual feelings just seem to happen to him. But sexual feelings mostly come about from things he chooses to do, either on his own or with someone else (Puberty, pregnancy and sex, 2009).

After puberty, it can seem natural to bring sexual feelings into a relationship. But it can also change how people feel about each other and about themselves. A guy might want to do something because he feel curious about it. Or because he thinks it will make him feel good. And he might want to do it because he feels very close to someone.

These sexual feelings are brand new to an adolescent having just gone through puberty or reaching the end of it, and the excitement is sometimes overwhelming. Unfortunately, he is not thinking about the consequences of doing any of these things, or, if he is, he tends to minimize them in lieu of this new "adventure" before him (Puberty, pregnancy and sex, 2009).

Conclusion

Puberty, at one time or another, is something...

It may feel awful at times, but it does get easier. Instead of getting embarrassed the next time his voice cracks, a guy needs to recognize it as "just one of those things" that go along with puberty. All it means is that he is a normal teenage boy who will someday be a confident and competent adult (Dautaj, n.d.).
Puberty, for a guy, can be troubling, but it can also be an exhilarating part of his life.
