The objective of this work in writing is to examine the selected areas of study concentration of this writer and to state what factors led the writer to this particular set of subjects. This work will state how the writer sees these concentrations fitting together and answer as to what areas of conflicts are seen between these concentrations. This work will answer the question of what the writer expects to accomplish with this set of subjects and to what the future goals of the writer of this work are. This work will finally research the current market for the future career goal of the writer and answer as to how the areas of concentration of the study of the writer will prepare the writer for this type of work environment.

Selected Areas of Concentration

The selected areas of concentration in study of this writer are those of Economics, Communities Studies, and Studies in Personal Finance. These concentrations fit together as they are all interrelated to matters of money and communicating about economics and finances. The conflict that this writer sees arising between these concentrations is the demand of work, time and dedication each demands. The goals that the writer will accomplish with this set of subjects are procuring gainful employment in a career that enable the writer to earn a substantial income and purchase a home.

Personal finance is a great field for ones' specialization if they intend to go into a family business such as a family health care business because one understands how to read the business financial records and to envision where the business is headed. As well on is able to better view personal finances and make plans for economic shifts in personal finance such as preparing for ones' retirement. Whether business or personal finance, planning is important and a critical aspect of sound financial management.

Communications skills are critically important in the health care industry and specifically in marketing health care services or products. Communication skills are important in the personal and professional life of the individual and will enable the writer of this work to a higher level of success.

Economics is inherently tied into business finance and informs one how to view supply and demand curves and work with graphs and statistics on calculation of what is being spent and where which informs one about society, the local community, and the nation-at-large.
