¶ … religious fundamentalism has been continually brought to the forefront. Part of the reason for this, is because the extreme views from different religions are causing many of its followers, to become upset about not perusing accepted practices and customs. Where, these views have caused many individuals to engage in violence and other acts, as a way of venting their disproval of certain incidents.

A good example of this can be seen by looking no further, than when reports began to surface about possible desecrations of the Koran at: Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Even though these reports were false, the anger that this incident would fuel, highlights the overall amounts of religious extremism that is taking place around the world. ("These are Dark Times," 2005) This not just isolated to one particular religion, instead all of them have their own forms of fundamentalists.

The blog that we will be starting, will be addressing the overall amounts of religious fundamentalism, with goal of helping to provide an outlet for all religious moderates to share their views. To achieve this objective, we will have ex-fundamentalists from all of the major religions of world serving as: bloggers and moderators for this site. This would help to establish a series of commentators, who can discuss various religious issues with readers and guests in a non-confrontational manner.

The strategy that we are utilizing is different from other blogs, which are focused on the fundamental aspects of religion. There are also many Christian website that have an emphasis on evangelical ideas. That being said, one moderate religious blog was found, however the views and topics can move away from religion at certain times. (Brady, 2009) This is significant, because it shows how the there is need for a blog that can address the views of moderates (within the various religions).

As many will often believe that the different activities and insights of fundamentalists are wrong (this could affect public's perception a particular religion). In this case, the blog will be different from most other types of websites, as it will address a unique aspect of religion that has been largely ignored. (Brady, 2009) Dissemination and replication will occur, by having the different ex-fundamentalists' bloggers posting various stories and articles.

At the same time, they would go to social networking sites (such as: Face Book and Twitter), to reach out to similar individuals that have the same kind of views on religion. This will improve collaboration among a number of individuals around the world, who share similar kinds of views. Over the course to time, this would help to increase the outreach of the blog and it will become an alternative voice, for those individuals who share similar opinions.

The major timeline for milestones of the blog would be: when ex-religious fundamentalists began to consistently post stories / social network, the point that the site will cross one million page views for a particular story, having various bloggers make public appearances as the face of the site and when the blog is having its stories posted in the mainstream media. These different points in time are important, because they will serve as long-term goals that will help improve the success of the blog.

The donors will be recognized through having a place on the site, where readers can donate or support various events and the blog itself. At the same time, the blog could conduct a pay per click.
