Countering acts of terrorism effectively require a strategic and comprehensive approach using a wide range of measures and policies. Proactive counterterrorism measures entails directly confronting the terrorist group and its supporters. Intelligence agencies offer electronic, technical, financial, anti-terror, military, and strategic intelligence.
