At two minutes past 10.00pm on Tuesday of the last week (30th October, 2011), Mrs. Kit Z. (41 years old) was walking with her daughter May (10 years old) in the Skokie suburb of her home district as part of an evening walk with her daughter. She was rounding the corner of the main street Main crossing Crawford street that runs off Main, when a white car, speeding from the left of Main and turning right into Crawford hit her and threw here to the ground just as she was crossing that particular road.

The driver Mr. J (an Asian man, 5ft high, black eyes, brown hair, a recent immigrant) also living in Skokie, owner of a 1956 Ford vehicle (white) instantly stopped, as did two other passersby who called the police.

The daughter in the meantime stood by shocked and crying refusing aid from passersby. It seemed as thoguh her mother was knocked unconscious.

The police arrived 30 minutes later, and an ambulance drove mother and daughter to the nearest emergency center (Lutheran hospital on Ridgeway). The daughter refused to solicit information regarding where she lived. It was therefore determined that information should be gained from the mother as soon as she recovered consciousness.

Consciousness was regained in the EU, but the mother had difficult talking. It was eventually, and with difficulty discovered that the daughter and mother live on Central in 1834 an apartment building on the 2nd floor and that there may be a spouse at home. Her phone was disconnected. Police were, therefore, dispatched to inform the spouse regarding the accident.

Emergency care discovered that the mother had a fractured knee and would need several months (approximately 3 to 4 months) to recuperate.

Investigation into Mr. J's driving revealed further complications all of which necessitates an additional police report.

Police report 2: (Sergeant Macobby)

Two of the Skokie police sergeants tracked Mr. J to an earlier incident this year when Police Commissioner Roy Kelly had looked into the death of a missing boy (8 years old) from the neighboring West Roger's district. On 13th July, 8 years old Pierre Boyle visited his neighbor, Mr. Fondie at 11 am on MacDonald Avenue where Mr. Fondue, manager of Empire State Supply Company had lived there for 12 years except for 2 years when he had lived in Memphis, Tenn. Boyle, youngest of 16 children, and son of Irish immigrants in their 60s attending the local public school had lived there for the past 8 years. He visited Mr. Fondie in order to play, as was customary, with his cat.

When the boy did not return 8 hours later, the parents panicked and detectives went to Fondie's house at 466 Francisco where they found Boyle's body in the bathroom. Fondie lives alone in the third-floor apartment in a building shared with two other families. There was blood on the door handle and the body itself was found inside a red suitcase that had been tossed in the bathtub.
