Two of the Skokie police sergeants tracked Mr. J to an earlier incident this year when Police Commissioner Roy Kelly had looked into the death of a missing boy (8 years old) from the neighboring West Roger's district. On 13th July, 8 years old Pierre Boyle visited his neighbor, Mr. Fondie at 11 am on MacDonald Avenue where Mr. Fondue, manager of Empire State Supply Company had lived there for 12 years except for 2 years when he had lived in Memphis, Tenn. Mr. Fondie himself is now under continuous surveillance on Rilker's Island. In the meantime, 2 neighbors had seen a man entering Mr. Fondie's apartment that Wednesday at 12:00 AM.
