In the case of Los Angles, California the teen pregnancy rate is the highest in comparison with the rest of the state. However, in a study that was conducted by Biggs (2011), she determined that the largest group (who have the most teen pregnancy rates inside LA County) are Latinos. These figures are showing how the majority of Hispanic teen pregnancy rates are from women who are: uneducated, unmarried and have trouble speaking English. As a result, one can easily establish the fact that there is an inequality in the kinds of preventive treatment that is offered to select demographics of the population. (Biggs, 2011)
