Education is extremely important for self-development and represents the entire set of values, norms, and guidelines for establishing oneself as a reliable member of the community.

Furthermore, education represents the cornerstone for developing a career. A proper education sets the basis and improves one's personal goals and launches new perspectives for self- improvement both at a personal level and at the professional one.

My educational objective is that of accumulating as much information as possible, from all areas of interest in order to form a round, sound, and complete background of knowledge that will help in my future career in the food industry or hospitality.

One of the most important roles played by education is the one of being a tool for self-development. For my future career in the food industry or hospitality, knowledge is crucial but not sufficient. In this type of career, one needs to benefit from a personal background that fits this type of environment. In this sense, education does not start in high school or in college but rather from the early stages of life. It starts in the early years of childhood. The family plays one of the most essential roles in the life of a child because it provides him or her the first personal contacts with the world. It is the family in this case that offers the first notions of good or bad, the first quantifiable values such as respect for peers, for the elderly or for those less fortunate. Despite the fact that this type of education is not necessarily taught in school, it is still part of the process of self-improvement. Such values and considerations can determine a path in life, perhaps even the glimpse of the type of career the child may take.

For my future career, strong values are crucial. Therefore, the values that make an individual a reliable member of the community are seeded through the family environment yet they are nurtured and improved in the academic environment. Social education is crucial for an individual to act in accordance with the needs of its community and society at large. This is why it can be considered that education represents more that the mere academic input of the school in the sense of strict mathematical or scientific information or fathering of information. Education in this sense entangles also the entire array of experiences undergone at the level of the academic environment, whether it is high school or college. This in turn determines the individual to improve his or hers personal behavior, attitude, personality, and response to the challenges faced in the society.

A proper education has as its most priced outcome a successful future career. However such an outcome is not necessarily guaranteed and it largely depends on the availability of the individual to direct its attention in one domain or another. More precisely, given the previous background, one can be suitable to follow a career in social sciences or in mathematics. It all depends on the prerequisite information provided in early childhood, on the environment, and most importantly on the personal preference of the individual. Education is of utmost value for the future career only if this education is done properly and with passion. Education from this point-of-view should be regarded as the single most important aspect that would determine a sound informational background in the future career. Without this strong goal set in mind, education can only be an accumulation of information without any final result.
