Time Warner made the Diversity Inc. Top 50 List for 2015, coming in 41st place. The company has made this list for six years consecutive. There are several factors that play into this rating, including the fact that the company has a Chief Diversity Officer. The company's attitude towards diversity is contained in its equal opportunity statement: "Time Warner Cable reaffirms its commitment to providing equal opportunities for employment and advancement to qualified employees and applicants.

One of the major contributing factors to the rating is that Time Warner offers upwards of 30% of its bonus compensation for executives for meeting diversity measures, a move that motivates the top people in the company to institute a variety of initiatives to promote diversity. This includes the promotion of minorities into vice presidential roles.

A company that scores on this list will have a talent pipeline where underrepresented group are promoted, employee resource groups, commitment of top leadership from the CEO on down, and will have supplier diversity as well. Often that means that the company registers this diversity with groups that track such things, so that its performance can be tracked over time.
