Transformational leaders face challenges related technology and the adoption of new business models
Businesses are entities that depend heavily on the kind of leadership qualities that the managers have. Nevertheless, they face serious challenges related to the adoption of new technologies and business models. The role of a transformational leader is to have a chance for the people who have what it takes to lead. It calls for the application of human relation skills that seek to secure a chance for the country to the company in question to embrace both change and inclusivity in ensuring that the objectives of the organization are attained. In this case, all the entities involving themselves in leadership must always understand the challenges brought out by the use of technology and the adoption of new business models. Therefore, they must ensure that problems arising from the two must be resolved so that transformation becomes a success. In their study, Sabatier, Craig-Kennard, and Mangematin, (2012) identified one challenge of technology relating to organizational progress in terms of well-timed business processes. In their observation, technological discontinuities often nullify the competitive advantages existing in an organization.
Transformational leaders always play a role in development and sustenance of organizational operations. However, they encounter challenges while trying to adopt new technologies and using contemporary business models. In this case, it makes much more sense to incorporate transformational lessons to the world of business so that managers will be able to execute all that they want in life successfully. Business-specific models are always evolving. This is challenging even to transformational leaders who are often forced to adapt to the dynamics so that they can keep the organization up and running. The failure to resolve to challenge arising from such models may drive some player out of the industry in which they operate. With the many lessons to be learned, leaders must adopt concrete strategies arising from the challenges related to the models used in their business. The strategy works in organizations dedicating their time and energy transformation and sustainability in terms of operations (Sabatier, Craig-Kennard, Mangematin, 2012).
Technology is the current most utilized tool of doing the business of all kinds. It gives a chance to the company in question to undertake business through the best means possible. It also allows the people who are given a chance to make things happen do so with ease. Not only does technology make things easier to do but that it also leads to the creation of better terms of control as well as ease the flow of services to the company. It also reduces the time of service delivery below that which is always witnessed. The major concerns relate actualization of business practices to ensure that all the factors that determine the business growth are supported (Weerakkody, Janssen, & . Dwivedi, 2011).
The latest developments in technology involve the management of making the flow of services and influencing the actions of the leaders to act with sufficient caution. In most instances, managers are required to be technologically updated so that they can use the required force to control the businesses. Ideally, the use of this technology secures a chance for the people in the industry to have what it takes to turn around events. Managers in every sector of the economy have noted that it is possible to handle bulky and involving tasks with ease by employing technology. In all instances, people share in the fact that technology brings to the attention of everybody the chance to execute all that it takes to secure transformation. The better part of this is in the fact that technological application also assists governments to meet the basic functions they are expected to execute (Sabatier, Craig-Kennard, Mangematin, 2012).
Technology has the role of enabling the governments to meet the mandate of serving the people they lead more efficiently than without the use of it. This is in the fact that most people have a close relationship with the means of communication that saves them the time and finances in their lives. In this case, governments have moved to use social media platforms to communicate with the citizens and collect views from them. Since the government only offers the essential and support services to the people, an effective way of reaching out to them saves the public from the anguish caused by rigid means of communications. Many lives have been transformed positively from the use of technology and that the life of every individual who has the need to receive government services need to know the cheapest and convenient means to communicate. There is also a need to get involved in the mainstream communication channels that people use and that government agencies use (Smith, Besharov, Wessels, & Chertok, 2012).
