The authors of this article acknowledge that the virtual-assistants are used for various purposes. It is stated that besides their potential, which is promising, many of its users’ main concerns is what happens to the data that the voice assistants record. The main ethical issue raised here is a virtual theory because, concerning the privacy utility trade-off, it was agreed that it is not the price of the voice assistants that is important, rather the privacy it provides. The reference is not biased because the article states that there are plans to evaluate Alexa’s acceptance by identifying different target groups to view virtual voice assistants, all with different preferences. This reference aims to ensure that the user will be placed in the view of research in the future because each user desires different configurations. The resource was helpful, and it will support my research study because the virtual ethics theory that is depicted will help the users to give their opinions on how the voice assistant affects and manipulates human nature. This has greatly influenced my thinking towards the topic.

The article gives an overview of how voice assistants are used as a marketing strategy many service industries adopt. The main ethical issue raised by the author is utilitarianism; this theory is evident because it advocates the use of voice assistants that foster happiness and not the negative ones that deprive the users of their joy. This gives voice assistants enough support to continue being used even though it has replaced human beings who have been continuously losing jobs. When it is used as a marketing strategy, consumers get closer to those offering the services. The reference is reliable because the research methodology involved newspapers, articles, blogs, literature reviews, and conceptual articles. Its goal is to give insight into how digital voice assistants have impacted the lives of those in the marketing sector. This resource was helpful because it has provided my knowledge base and will support my research study. After reading this resource, my thinking has changed because I realized that although it manipulates human nature, it goes a long way in supporting investments and helps customers manage their financial lives.

The ethical issue evident here is utilitarianism that advocates the use of Alexa Skill in institutions that utilize AWS administrations. This can be helpful because it can address all the potential inquiries identified with a particular institution. The resource is reliable because it has done the research and identified a gap in India because, so far, no foundation has its own Virtual Personal Assistant. The resource is not biased since the main aim is to serve all clients who will use Alexa and address all the questions straightforwardly. The goal of this reference is to build an Alexa Skill for an institution. This resource was helpful because it will help me judge the ethical issue to identify how the voice assistants affect human nature and my research study. This reference has influenced my thinking because I know that this technology can also be used in institutions like schools.
