Although this is a video from the children's educational television program Sesame Street and thus designed for younger viewers, it can nonetheless prove a useful tool to those who are struggling with the processes that go into the scientific method. It also shows how important it is to make a hypothesis, but to be willing to change that hypothesis when to results of the experiment proves that hypothesis to be fault. All too often, people attempt to make the results fit into their theory rather than admit their initial theory was wrong and formulate a new one. The video instructs on the steps of Scientific Method and also makes clear the importance of the process.

It clearly outlines the elements and atoms and allows the viewer to understand the basic pieces of life on the earth. There are also easily comprehendible visuals, such as a chart which more clearly defines the difference between protons, neutrons, and electrons. Bohr models have always been quite confusing because they are a concept that you either completely understand or do not comprehend at all. This site breaks down the components of the chemistry so that each idea can be mastered before moving on to another.

This page serves two important functions to the science student. First of all it defines cellular energy and explains clearly that energy is acquired through the respiration of the cell. Secondly, the page provides some real-world examples for the energy consumption and creation. It also examines various types of energy and explores different ways in which the body uses energy both at the cellular level and on a larger scale as well. The human body and all other living things as well, require energy in order to function and perform work. Understanding the importance and also the process makes the concept more understandable.

This video is a simplistic explanation of the differences between animal and plant cell types. It can be difficult trying to determine whether or not a cell fits into one category or the other. There are many ways in which the two types are the same: they both have a nucleus and certain elements in common. They are most obviously different in their shape and in the fact that animal cells do not possess a cell wall whereas plant cells do. This video helps explain the functions of the varying components and explain why as well as how the two types of cells are different.
