The interest of student also helps them pass through the tight schedule and tough contents. Students get motivated when they score good marks. If they fail in a subject, the chain effect of demotiavtion does not let them perform well. The first session is particuarly difficult as students are not used to the university environement, its rules and procedures. At times, students find it difficult to participate in the class and teachers have no time to pay individual attention to them. Students are pressurised that their good grades will help them find better jobs. In the quest to lead a sound professional life, students listen to advice of everybody and tend to switch their majors again and again. The absence of proper guidance becomes one of the major hurdles in developing interest in the particular field.
