REGARDING INFORMATION ABOUT THREE GROUPS OF FORTY TO PARK CITY LODGE

Dear Mr. Jones,

There is a growing interest in Park City Lodge and all of the amazing opportunities and amenities that the facility has to offer for large size groups, such as our planned tours of forty members. This upcoming ski season is bound to be an exciting one, and I was hoping that Park City Lodge could serve as the possible location for our upcoming group travel packages.

Fun Games Travel, Inc. is an emerging travel agency that specializes in planning group trips with plenty of exciting activities along the way. Due to the growing demand for travel to the most pristine and engaging ski locations, Fun Games Travel is planning on setting up travel packages to Magic Mountain, one of the best ski grounds in the region. Due to the proximity to the mountain and the great amenities offered at Park City Lodge, we here at Fun Games Travel were interested in speaking to management further regarding the possibility of working together to set up a dream vacation package for our customers.

If all goes as planned, we will be expecting three separate groups of forty skiers each. Beginning in February, the groups will be flown in and will enjoy skiing on the mountain for one of the best weeks of their lives. As such, Fun Games Travel is looking for more information on group rates for our customers. Our lodging needs would require six nights for groups of both single and double rooms, depending on each guest's unique situation. I do understand the traditional rates based on the information posted online on the website, can you work together with Fun Games Travel, Inc. On the price based on the sheer number of people that will be in our group for each of the three trips that we have in the works. Due to the busy nature of the holidays, we respect that the location will probably be extremely busy and we plan on avoiding major holidays for our group trips and scheduling such trips on other dates.

What rate per traveler would that discount be broken done to?

In addition to lodging, there are some other issues we were hoping to work out in order to get our customers to enjoy the fun activities at Park City Lodge. First, the members of our groups will need to eat, most likely breakfast and dinners at the lodge, as lunches will probably be eaten at Magic Mountain. In order to get our client's all settled in, we were hoping that we could discuss costs of group breakfasts and dinners for the forty members for each of the three trips planned. We were hoping to secure a private dinning room as a way to allow our customers the full enjoyment of the lodge experience and so they can continue to bond with one another during the trip. If a sample menu could be provided to share with our guests prior to the trip that would also be incredibly helpful.

The most important element here is access to Magic Mountain. I was hoping to get some more specific information regarding the distance to the lift tickets from the Lodge and ski-in and ski-out feasibility. I understand that there are discounts for lift tickets provided to guests of the Lodge, and I wanted to discuss further about possible group rates based on the large number of people who would be skiing on the Mountain for the week long duration of the trip.
