Addiction recovery in the Christian faith is not that much different from secular recovery. The basic steps are the same. What makes it different is the emphasis on prayer and healing from a spiritual level, as opposed to only healing the body. Many recovery programs have some spiritual component, but Christian-based recovery programs are very focused on only Christianity, and not a more generalized version of faith in a higher power.
